Trash & Recycling Pick-up Services
Trash service is provided by Republic Services . You can reach their Customer Service department at (713) 635-6666.

Note: Please have your garbage/recycling at the curb by 7 a.m.
- Garbage Collection – Twice per week at the curb – Monday and Thursday. Please note trash must be placed in the carts provided by Republic Services.
- Recycling Collection – Every Wednesday. All recycling must be placed in the carts provided by Republic Services. Recycling carts are blue with green, grey or light blue lids.
- Heavy Trash Collection – Every Monday – Hand pick up at the Curb. (See additional Heavy Trash information below)

The following items and materials Will NOT be accepted:
Acceptable Heavy Trash Items:
Household Appliances
Refrigerators must have Freon drained and be tagged accordingly by a certified technician.
Hot water heaters must be drained.
Furniture. Live Christmas trees.
Grills must be emptied of ash or briquettes.
Unacceptable Heavy Trash Items:
Packing peanuts must be bagged. Drivers will not clean up packing peanut spills.
Yard Waste:
Bush and tree trimmings cut in lengths not to exceed 4 feet, no greater than 2 inches in diameter, securely tied in bundles, not to exceed 35 lbs.
All grass clippings, and leaves must be bagged. No tree trunks.

- Cereal and food boxes
- Remove any food or liquid contents from the recyclable item.
- Rinse the recyclable item to remove any residue.
- Shake off excess water before placing the item into your recycling container.
- No clothing, shoes, pizza boxes or any items not on the above list should be put in your recycling cart.
